Founded by two creators with an uncompromising vision, Gamut was built from the ground up to deliver top-of-the-line video presets that elevate the final look of any filmmaker’s project—whether in travel, commercials, films, or even weddings. Without corporate backing, every decision had to be intentional, prioritizing profitability and precision. The mission was clear: achieve a profitable ROAS while keeping CPAs low to maintain financial stability and reinvest in R&D, ensuring Gamut stayed ahead of the industry curve. These KPIs weren’t just about sustaining growth—they were essential to consistently delivering the most innovative, high-caliber tools filmmakers rely on to bring their stories to life.
To amplify exposure and expand the product lineup, Gamut partnered with top-tier filmmakers to co-create LUT packs that merged their creative expertise with Gamut’s commitment to quality. Retrospect supported this effort with a strategic white-label marketing approach, leveraging the filmmakers’ social presence to drive DTC sales. This co-marketing strategy enabled Gamut to launch new products quickly while fostering a sense of community & trust. Educational video campaigns showcased how Gamut’s tools elevate filmmaking quality, turning cold audiences into loyal, high-value customers. As a newer brand, understanding the “why” behind consumer behavior was as critical as identifying the “who.” We focused on uncovering the core motivations and barriers for Gamut’s target audience, crafting precise messaging that hit the right emotional and functional notes at the right time. This approach minimized campaign waste and maximized impact.

Creative Testing

To scale effectively, we adopted a modular approach to video production, creating 50+ variations of ad creative from a single session. This gave us the flexibility to test hooks, messaging, benefits, and offers, allowing us to uncover what truly resonated with audiences. The result? A steady pipeline of high-performing creative that consistently drove ROAS.

Our Creator Collaboration program became a cornerstone of Gamut’s marketing success. By selectively partnering with industry-respected filmmakers, we elevated brand credibility and showcased product excellence through authentic testimonials.
