The idea of committing to a product they haven’t tasted can feel risky, especially when holiday budgets are tight and store shelves are flooded with cheaper, lower-quality options. Thanksgiving, the Super Bowl of turkey, only amplifies these challenges. How do you convince customers to choose a premium turkey farm over the budget options staring them down at the grocery store? That’s where we came in.
Our mission was clear: dominate Q3 and Q4 by turning Diestel into the turkey of choice for Thanksgiving. The goal was not only to attract new customers but to do so profitably. Lowering CPAs while increasing AOVs was non-negotiable to offset the added costs of shipping and supply chain logistics. The end game? Scale the campaign without sacrificing the quality or integrity of Diestel’s brand values.
Our campaign had two clear missions. First, inspire younger audiences to ditch the intimidation of hosting. Bold, playful ads encouraged them to channel their "inner chef" and tackle cooking a full turkey with confidence. Second, for seasoned hosts, we highlighted Diestel’s commitment to quality, humane practices, and regenerative farming, while showcasing the ease of ordering online—because when the season gets hectic, quality shouldn’t take a backseat. To tie it all together, we partnered with ambassadors to create authentic, relatable UGC. The result? Storytelling that didn’t just sell turkeys—it built trust, sparked community, and made Diestel the centerpiece.
